Customer context
When INNSO started working with Reliance (formerly IT-Concern) in 2018, the organization had around thirty employees. Today, that number has grown to more than one hundred and fifty. As a result, the role of IT within the organization changed as well. “In the beginning, it was mainly about the basics,” says Bartel van Meijl, HR Director & Partner at INNSO. “Laptops, Office 365 and workplaces. But today we expect much more from IT. That makes sense, because our clients expect the same from us.” The organization grew not only in size, but also in responsibility. Where individual assignments were once the standard, INNSO now manages and oversees complete infrastructure projects. As a result, topics such as access management, compliance and security became increasingly important.
As the organization grew, so did the need for an IT partner that looks beyond support and management alone. INNSO was looking for a partner that could grow alongside the organization, respond quickly and actively contribute ideas about the future. “Everything needs to be right. From certifications to data management. And in those areas, we need to be able to trust our IT partner.” Since IT-Concern became part of Reliance, INNSO has also noticed the organization continuing to professionalize. More expertise, broader support and short communication lines ensure the collaboration can continue growing together with the business.

The challenge was not only technical, but also related to scalability and awareness. Many employees work hybrid or on-site, while security and compliance requirements continue to increase. “You can technically secure everything perfectly, but people will always remain an important factor,” says Bartel. “That is why everyone completes a security awareness training. You immediately notice the difference in how colleagues handle information and risks.”
AI is also introducing new challenges, especially in a sector where sensitive information is handled every day. “We work with data from telecom providers, locations and contracts. That means you have to think carefully about which tools you use and how to keep everything secure.”
Reliance now supports INNSO in multiple areas. From workplace management and Microsoft 365 to security awareness, consulting and support around compliance and policies. According to Bartel, the strength lies mainly in the combination of strategic thinking and practical execution. “Reliance does not just carry out what you ask for. The specialists think along, provide advice and raise the alarm in time when needed.” Sometimes that value is found in the smaller things. “If we order fifteen laptops, they are delivered fully configured and ready for use. That may sound obvious, but it saves an enormous amount of time and hassle.” Because many employees work hybrid or on-site, the digital workplace has been designed for flexibility and secure collaboration. Microsoft 365 serves as the foundation.
