Third-Party Subprocessors

What is a third-party subprocessor?

‍

A subprocessor is a vendor that Reliance engages to process personal data on behalf of our customers, who are the data controllers of that data.

‍

Our process for contracting with subprocessors
‍

Reliance requires its subprocessors to meet obligations equivalent to those that apply to us as a data processor under our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), including the requirements to:
‍

  • process personal data in line with the data controller's (i.e. the customer's) instructions, as communicated to the subprocessor by Reliance;
  • use only personnel who are reliable and bound by a contractual duty of confidentiality and data security under applicable data protection laws;
  • promptly inform Reliance about any security breach; and
  • cooperate with Reliance to handle requests from data controllers, data subjects or data protection authorities.
    ‍

The table below sets out the subprocessors engaged in processing and storing personal data when Reliance acts as a data processor on behalf of its customers, the data controllers.

Updates

As our business grows and evolves, the subprocessors we use may also change. We will notify the relevant account owner of any new subprocessor to the extent required under our agreement, and we will post the update here.
