Reliance is seeking a Business Development Manager with a keen commercial instinct and the drive to both attract new customers and further develop existing relationships. In this role, you will be the face of our organization to the market. You will have significant freedom to shape your own sales approach and will work closely with the Business Unit Manager to strengthen our successful strategy.

The ideal Business Development Manager is an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial individual with excellent presentation skills, eager to roll up their sleeves and take our organization to the next level. You are the commercial face of the organization and see it as a challenge to expand our client portfolio and strengthen relationships with existing clients. Your focus will be on further developing bizqit's client base.

Your role

As a Business Development Manager, you'll work in an enthusiastic team to expand our service portfolio for existing clients and attract new ones. Your responsibilities include:

  • Generating new business opportunities and approaching and connecting new clients;
  • Maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing clients;
  • Translating our clients' challenges into solutions based on our products and services;
  • Achieving individual sales targets and contributing to team results;
  • Providing excellent customer service and resolving any complaints or issues;
  • Monitoring sales activities and reporting to management on a regular basis;
  • Identifying market trends and customer needs to adjust sales strategies.

Your profile

You possess a higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level with a business background. You are well-informed about IT developments and are able to quickly master new developments. You are a consultative seller and know how to convert opportunities into healthy win-win relationships. Key aspects:

  • Commercial experience in IT (at least 3 years), preferably at an MSP;
  • Demonstrable success in developing a client portfolio;
  • Strong intrinsic motivation to make your role a success;
  • Ability to understand, advise, and challenge clients' latent needs;
  • Entrepreneurial and able to independently maintain client relationships and acquire new business;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Result-oriented and responsible for achieving commercial objectives;
  • Ability to develop effective service propositions and use various methods to engage (potential) clients, both online and offline;
  • Positive attitude with the ability to take initiative and work effectively in a team;
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
