The Role

As Service & Support Engineer, you will be the technical face of Reliance IT in the UAE and broader GCC region— ensuring our clients enjoy seamless IT operations with the highest level of care and discretion.

This role requires a self-starting, autonomous engineer who takes full ownership of client environments, communicates confidently with senior stakeholders, and thrives in a boutique high-performance setting.

You will work closely with our expert engineering team in the Netherlands while supporting local premium customers onsite and remotely. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing, high-trust IT boutique where initiative, independence, and customer empathy matter most.

 

Key Responsibilities

Deliver flawless IT experiences for high-profile clients — with ownership, precision, and executive-level service etiquette.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Provide proactive onsite and remote support across Microsoft 365, Azure, Fortinet and secure networking environments.
  • Deliver exceptional experiences for VIP and executive users through clear communication, discretion, and polished professional conduct.
  • Take full ownership of incidents and requests, ensuring fast, high-quality outcomes without supervision.
  • Manage troubleshooting and maintenance of workstations, servers, cloud solutions, and network components.
  • Collaborate with our European engineering specialists on escalations and complex deployments.
  • Lead onboarding, workspace setup, and executive support for new clients.
  • Maintain precise documentation, system monitoring, and contribute to service quality improvements.
  • Represent Reliance IT with confidence and discretion in Executive Offices, Family Offices, and luxury real-estate environments.

 

What you bring

A skillful, self-managing IT professional who combines technical depth with maturity, discretion, and impeccable presentation and communication.

Profile Requirements:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or multi-tenant environment (mandatory).
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID, and modern workplace solutions.
  • Practical FortiGate and secure networking experience (VLANs, VPNs, switching, WiFi).
  • Proven track record supporting VIP, Executive and Family Office users with empathy, speed and confidence.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English, professional presence, and strong organizational discipline.
  • Self-driven mindset with the ability to operate independently and reliably in sensitive environments.
  • UAE-based or able to relocate within 30 days.
  • Valid background check.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or similar (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license.

 

Preferred Certifications

Industry-recognized certifications that demonstrate mastery of the modern Microsoft–Fortinet–ITIL ecosystem and demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator (MD-102), Azure Administrator (AZ-104).
  • Fortinet NSE 3 or NSE 4.
  • CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation.
  • ISO 27001 awareness or equivalent.
